The Hoist Adapter is used in conjunction with the A20001 Boom Hoist and the J20002 Load Positioner, a customer furnished transmission jack, or the J20009 Jacking Equipment and a customer furnished scissor lift for removal and installation of the 787 GE and RR port and starboard variable frequency starter generators (VFSG) and the two APU starter generators (ASG).
